Welcome to Our Team Page!

Welcome to Our Team Page!

Join select AFTD staff and members of the local community as we bring greater FTD awareness to the surrounding Denver area and raise funds to help people affected by FTD. The AFTD-Team will participate in the Colfax Marathon on October 16th and 17th, as an Official Charity Partner. We hope you'll join us for a morning of friendship and awareness. Race distances include: Marathon (26.2 miles); Half Marathon (13.1 miles); 10 Miler; 5K (3.1 miles); and Relay (26.2 miles across five legs).

Click below to register for the race. Under "Charities" be sure to select "yes" and "The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD)" as your charity under the “are you considering raising funds or awareness for a charity?” question. Please note that donations made through the race's registration form do not benefit AFTD. To fundraise on behalf of AFTD and help us reach our $90,000 goal, click on "Join Team" above and create your own fundraiser.

Disclaimer: Your health and safety as an AFTD volunteer are important to us! Participation in the AFTD-Team 2021 Race Season, or any in-person activity is voluntary. All AFTD and AFTD-Team participants will be required to adhere to specific COVID-19 safety guidelines, as set forth by the event, local and state guidelines, and CDC guidelines. For some activities, wearing masks, providing a negative COVID-19 test result, and/or providing proof of complete vaccination may also be required. These and other guidelines are subject to change as an event nears. We will keep AFTD-Team participants up to date on the latest health and safety procedures as communicated by the event, and we ask that you proactively monitor local conditions, and consider participation with your own safety and health and that of your family as a priority.
