After a tumultuous 2020 and a year off from the regatta, BKSK Architects is excited to compete again in the NY Architects Regatta this September in pursuit of Gold! However, even more important than the place we finish is our commitment to support the fundraising goals of this fantastic event. We are even prouder to say that we were also atop the fundraising leader board and hope to surpass last year's total of 17,350 dollars this year. This event is near and dear to us because it combines two types of Charities so important to BKSK; the marine related charity groups that promote sailing and children’s education on the water as well as the EB Research Partnership. Please consider helping us in raising funds to support both important causes.

EB Research Partnership is the largest nonprofit dedicated to funding research aimed at treating and ultimately curing Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a group of devastating and life-threatening genetic skin disorders. David Kubik, Partner at BKSK, began supporting EBRP after his five-year-old daughter, Elodie, was diagnosed with EB at birth. While there is no treatment for this disease, for the first time there are exciting treatments in clinical trial that can dramatically improve the quality of life for kids like Elodie. However, these trials depend on the support of organizations like EBRP to progress forward. With the incredible efforts of EBRP, David is optimistic that all those suffering with EB will benefit from a life-saving treatment and eventually a cure. Learn more about Elodie here:
