Welcome to year three for Team Red, White & Brew at the Vermont Summer Classic.

We started as a few friends in the beer industry. We all like to have a couple cold beers and play wiffleball. When -- out of the blue -- came the opportunity to take our talents to Little Fenway.

We jumped at the opportunity and never looked back.

In year one, we raised about $7,000 and made a splash in the playoffs. But injuries late in the tournament derailed the club and we forfeited our chance to continue in the tournament.

Year two? Oh, year two was a fairy tale. Hollywood already contacted us about movie rights, actually.

Walk off home runs. Wheelbarrow races. Epic comebacks. We raised almost $15,000.

We had it ALL.

And where did we land? In the championship game. We battled -- oh, did we battle -- but it wasn't mean to be for the Brew Crew. We fell in the championship game to The Gluebags, 6-5.

But we're on to 2022. And we have a few tricks up our sleeve this year. A few new secret weapons. A few new tactics to employ at key moments. A few "you gotta' see it to believe it" type deals, you know?

We've been talking about that championship game loss for a year now. There are a lot of people in our dugout that need another shot. The game left a sour taste in our mouths and we're ready to rinse that out with some ice cold Miller Lite.

We're coming for you, VSC. Get ready.
