UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who's supported our fundraiser so far! We're happy to report that MaDukes has been adopted and is now living life to the fullest in her new home. Here at the NHSPCA, we're committed to help every animal find a safe and loving home... animals like sweet MaDukes. This charming girl will steal your heart. She LOVES people and can't get enough of any human friend she meets. We want MaDukes to find her forever family where she can be loved endlessly the way she deserves.

Things weren't always rosy for MaDukes. Before coming to the NHSPCA, MaDukes was in an overcrowded shelter in Texas. It's hard for us to imagine because she is the most sincere, loyal companion who plays well with other doggie friends too. Sadly, there are parts of the country where unwanted pets are a dime a dozen, and deserving dogs like MaDukes are just one of a seemingly endless amount of homeless animals.

YOU can help MaDukes and so many other pets in her same situation by supporting our Paws Walk fundraiser! On Sunday, June 2, we'll be walking to raise critical funds for our lifesaving work at the NHSPCA. Your donation will help us rescue more homeless pets like MaDukes and give them a second chance. 

In an average year, thousands of animals come to our facility in need of lifesaving care while they wait for their forever homes. Your donation can give these pets the second chance they deserve. Here's a look at how:

$25 - Helps pay for vaccinations for a stray cat or dog

$50 - Helps pay to transport an animal from an overcrowded shelter

$75 - Provides low-cost spay/neuter services to a family who couldn’t otherwise afford it

$100 - Provides behavioral training for an animal to help them find a home more quickly

$250 - Helps provide lifesaving surgery to an animal in need

$500 - Helps provide rescue teams with the resources they need to save lives
