Our Story … In March 2015, my daughter, Danielle had her first seizure.  I will never forget that day as I felt so helpless as her mom.  She has been a patient of Johns Hopkins since and unfortunately, they still haven’t diagnosed her disorder.  Her disorder does not respond to medication, and as a result she has seizures daily.

On Nov. 2nd, my best friends from my childhood and I will be walking in Danielle’s honor.  Despite her difficult journey she’s incredibly brave and beautiful and we want to continue to support our warrior!!

I chose the San Antonio walk because it’s held in November which is Epilepsy Awareness month and it’s in my wonderful hometown of San Antonio, Texas. If you know me, you know I’m a proud Texan at heart!
