2021 Walk for Water
Nurturing Minds and SEGA
We invite you to walk, run, or hike at least 3.7 miles in a location of your choice on Sunday, September 26th to support SEGA's water needs.
Women and girls in Tanzania and across Africa walk an average of 3.7 miles (6 kilometers) a day to collect water for their families.
Join us on September 26th to help bring awareness to the impact that time-consuming tasks like carrying water can have on girls attending school and completing their education.
Double Your Impact
We are thrilled to announce that thanks to the generosity of a supporter, all funds raised towards the Walk for Water will be matched 1:1 up to $25,000!
Registration and Fundraising
All registered participants will be able to create a fundraising page or team, or join an already established fundraising team.
We encourage all participants to engage your friends and family to help you reach your fundraising goal or to ask them to take part in their own Walk for Water.

- 30 laps around a track
- 7,874 steps on a stair climber
- An hour and 15 minute walk through your neighborhood or local park
- An hour and 45 minute hike on gentle terrain
