Positive Impact Health Centers helps the greater metro Atlanta community face fears every day. Still, in 2023, stigma leads to a fear of testing, taking PrEP, starting recovery, enrolling in counseling, and engaging in HIV medical care.
By making a donation or joining the campaign, you are moving YOUR community forward in creating a world without the fear of facing those journeys.
You can help by making a donation to the campaign! With your support, we will continue to help individuals face fears each and every day.
You can also join the campaign (It's FREE) and help PIHC by raising money. You can set a goal, face a fear or just fundraise - both ways you are inspiring others. #FYFPIHC23
There will be a party for everyone that faced their fears. Everyone reaching $250 or more, will recieve a "I Faced My Fears" T-shirt.
We are sharing ways you will make a difference below. You can pick one of these fundraising goals below or set your own.
How much will it take for you to FACE YOUR FEAR?
You are challenging yourself to face it, challenge yourself to raise it!
It might seem small, but it makes a great impact. Help us fund 5 Telehealth visits for individuals living with HIV. Telehealth visits save time for patients working or in school and reduce transportation barriers.
HIV and STI prevention can be as simple as correct and consistent condom usage. We distribute almost 200,000 FREE condoms a year. $500 will help us purchase 5,000 condoms.
$1,500 covers the cost of shared room in a state-recognized recovery housing program. Help a person get to recovery by making this your goal.
Help us fund FREE HIV testing. Individuals can test in the office, at community events, or with a home testing kit. $2,500 will help us provide 25 people with tests and prevention counseling.
3,500 provides Antiretroviral Treatment (ART) medication for one client. You can help one patient at a time get virally suppressed.
For patients co-occurring disorders like high blood pressure or diabetes, we supply medical kits with tools to track health at home. These kits are $100 each. Help us supply 50 of them for people in need.
Every patient has the right to be able to communicate easily with their medical care team. We provided services in 11 different languages in 2022. We provide free access to several types of interpretation services. Help us fund this service for a year for over 200 patients.
