Last spring, the Usher Syndrome Coalition's office space was vandalized. This event could have been devastating to our infrastructure and thus our efforts to support the Usher syndrome community. But thanks to the incredible first responders from the town of Maynard, the issue was quickly resolved and became a meaningful reminder of the importance of community. In an effort to thank the police and fire departments, while raising awareness about Usher syndrome, our team plans to bake and take as many goodies to as many first responders as possible.
