Follow our Journey & Support our Team! We're doing something EPIC for a GREAT CAUSE!
team-work [teem-wurk] noun
1. A cooperative or coordinated effort on the part of a group of persons acting together as a team or in the interest of a common cause.
Guess what?! We have committed to paddling over 80 miles across the Atlantic Gulf Stream, from Bimini, Bahamas to Lake Worth Beach, Florida in a single night and day on June 23rd, 2024!! All to raise awareness and funds for those living with cystic fibrosis.
Our individual team members (Captain, Crew, and paddlers) have combined digital forces to create this awesome fundraising team page. Together we will raise more money for CF families via Piper's Angels Foundation than we ever could alone!
I'm sure you already have charities and causes you support, but if you'd help me support Piper's Angels Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis by making a donation (no matter how big or small) through this page, I'd be truly grateful. More importantly, you'll be supporting an authentically terrific and worthwhile cause. (You can check out their awesome programs below, or at pipersangels.org!)
Thank you (so much!) in advance for whatever support you're willing to offer... and please don't forget to share this page with anyone who might be interested in donating and/or supporting the cause in any other way!

WHAT IS THE CROSSING?
ABOUT CYSTIC FIBROSIS
Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. In people with CF, a defective gene causes a thick buildup of mucus in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. In the lungs, the mucus clogs the airways and traps bacteria, leading to infections, extensive lung damage and eventually, respiratory failure. In the pancreas, the mucus prevents the release of digestive enzymes that allow the body to break down food and absorb vital nutrients. There is no known cure, and the disease demands significant treatments every single day.
