Aloha!

Pomai was diagnosed with leukemia in June 2020. He successfully "slayed" (as his brother would say) cancer and rang the bell in 2023 at the end of 3 long years of treatment. Through these rough years, the amazing team from Make-a-Wish Hawaii would check in with our family and really boost all of our spirits with talk of what Pomai's wish would be. His wish came true when our family went to Powder Mountain in Utah for a ski trip - we all had a blast, and Pomai's never-ending smile was a wish come true for all of us. We can all attest to the incredible power of a wish to give hope and strength to all of our warriors.
